GAITF President Edgar N. Alegre Joins Dagyaw 2020 as Guest Speaker
Global Academy Institute of Technology Foundation Inc. (GAITF) proudly shares that its President, Mr. Edgar N. Alegre, was invited as a guest speaker during Dagyaw 2020, conducted virtually via Zoom.
The event was attended by representatives from Region IX Local Government Units (LGUs), National Government Agencies, education stakeholders, and various academic institutions. Mr. Alegre spoke on the vital role of education in nation-building, highlighting GAITF’s innovative approach and its dedication to accessible, quality learning.
As a pioneering institution in the region, GAITF stood out during the COVID-19 pandemic by implementing a Learning Content and Management System (LCMS)—ensuring that education continued seamlessly despite the challenges of remote learning. This initiative positioned GAITF as a model of resilience and adaptability in the education sector.
Mr. Alegre’s participation in Dagyaw 2020 reflects the institution’s strong commitment to transparency, inclusive governance, and community empowerment through education.
